Ph.D., Department of Infectious Diseases and Immunology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Utrecht University, the Netherlands. The doctoral dissertation entitled "Antimicrobial Resistance in Salmonella" on May 3, 2007, and was awarded the Ph.D. degree. The research and dissertation defense were conducted entirely in English.

Master of Agricultural Sciences in Veterinary Medicine, Nong Lam University Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Awarded the Master's degree on March 31, 2002, with the thesis entitled "Antibiotic Use in Poultry Production and Antibiotic Residues in Chicken Meat in Ho Chi Minh City."

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Nong Lam University Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Awarded the DVM degree on July 25, 1996, with the graduation thesis entitled "The Use of Lactobacillus acidophilus as a Probiotic for the Prevention of Diarrhea in Piglets."
