General introduction

Nong Lam University Veterinary Hospital (NLUVH), was officially established on February 18, 1998 within the framework of the cooperation program on training the Vietnam – France Veterinary Master course between the Universities of Veterinary Medicine of the Republic of France, in which mainly the University of Toulouse Veterinary Medicine and Nong Lam University play major roles. In the beginning, NLUVH was supported by professors and doctors from France in specialized fields, especially in the field of examination and treatment of diseases of dogs and cats. Veterinarians from France worked directly with lecturers and technicians of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine.  NLUVH was officially handed over to the Nong Lam University for full management and operation in July 1999.

Over 15 years of operation, NLUVH has built trust with customers. Our expertise is in the diagnosis and treatment of all animals (cattle, poultry, pets, exotic animals,…). We accept all cases, even severe cases, which are rare in animals. The staff is constantly researching and exchanging experiences with domestic and foreign experts to provide a appropriate solution for each case, explaining and providing specific instructions with the owner for good coordination during treatment. In addition to receiving sick animals at the hospital, we also directly visit the farm to advise and assist in taking samples for testing.

With the help of the Nong Lam University, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, organizations and companies, we have built a modern laboratory system, so the diagnosis is more accurate. NLUVH currently has a team of highly qualified and dedicated doctors and staffs. In addition, NLUVH is also supported by leading experts in the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine. Most of the doctors are trained abroad or are directly trained by foreign experts in Vietnam. With the goal of gradually perfecting modern diagnostic and treatment procedures, in order to benefit livestock as well as breeders, we need more trust and support from our customers and partners. NLUVH is looking forward to having a source of practical and diverse cases, contributing to training the veterinarian team for the future, meeting the needs of the integration of Veterinary medicine with the region and the world.
