Introduction

Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, which is established in the end of 2012, is based on a combination of Department of Veterinary Surgery and Department of Internal Medicine. Being established and developed over 60 years from two former departments, Department of VCS continues to accomplish the academic mission, which educates successfully Veterinarians, Husbandry engineers, and post-graduate students belonged to the Veterinary Medicine major, along with university and faculty orientations. Subjects which are undertook by the department include: General Physiology, Laboratory Diagnosis, Veterinary Surgery 1, Veterinary Surgery 2, Small Animal Diseases, Photographic Diagnosis, Vet Hospital Probation, and other subjects of the Advanced Veterinary Medicine Program.

Research Orientations

The research orientation of the department includes: Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea (PED), Porcine Reproductive & Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS). Vaccines, and Egg yolk products which are applied to prevent and treat diseases. Cattle Diseases, such as mastitis, dystocia, infertile. Small animal diseases, such as: dystocia, infertile, purulent metritis, diabetes and Canine Carre & Parvo diseases. Small Animal Photographic Diagnosis. Some researches related to Veterinary Surgery, locomotion analysis, and some disorders relating to Locomotion System (muscle, bone, joint, ligament)
